- We are busy filming the new DVD scheduled for release later in the
year and have uploaded a couple of songs from the DVD on to YouTube so you can get a
preview of the DVD. The DVD is being filmed in High Definition but the
YouTube version is low res for quick loading. Go to the "Videos & Chat" page
to view the videos. We hope you enjoy them.

- I recently met up with Andy Mack, the proprietor of Bluewater Radio
in Ontario, Canada, at Moray Firth Radio in Inverness. As well as running
Bluewater Radio, he has his own show, "The Sounds Of Scotland" which
broadcasts every Friday. It is also archived in mp3 and listen again format
and you can enjoy the show at
any time by visiting the website
thesoundsofscotland.com.

- Superb end to the season for Inverness Caley Thistle as we gain
promotion back to the SPL. Here I am celebrating at the end of the last
match of the season against Dundee. The atmosphere was fantastic at the
Tulloch Caledonian stadium as the team were presented with the league cup.
Congratulations to Terry Butcher and the boys.

- I have a new CD coming out on "Maestro Records" titled "An Evening
With Ronnie Ross", catalogue number CDTS177. It is aimed at dancers but has
been recorded with the listener in mind as well. There are 20 tracks on it,
about half are vocals and the rest are instrumentals with vocal
accompaniment. "Maestro" are a top class record company and their releases
are full price, so this one retails at £13,including post and packing. You
can order from their website using credit card etc. at
www.maestrorecords.com or direct
from us by e-mailing sales@ronnieross.co.uk where we can arrange to use paypal or pay
by cheque/p.o. You will be able to listen to samples from the CD in the CD's
section of this site, shortly.
- "Shamrock & Heather" and "The Country Collection" will be available
in shops and on retailers like Amazon etc. on Pegasus Records from May 2010.
- Happy New Year everyone. The wintry weather has hit hard in the
Highlands and we're all struggling to get about at the moment. So far, I've
made it to every gig and I'm hoping to keep that up.

- Here is a picture of our new family member, Wendy. She is a
collie/cross rescue dog and is the sweetest natured dog I've ever come
across.

- Tuesdays: Caledonian Hotel, Fort William
- Wednesdays: Highland Hotel, Strathpeffer
- Thursdays: Dornoch Hotel

- A new interview has been posted on the videos and chat page in mp3
format. Just click on the link and you can listen to the inteview as it was
broadcast. This radio interview took place by telephone on January 30th with
Andy Mack , host of "The Sounds Of Scotland" on Bluewater Radio, Ontario,
Canada, which is the largest syndicated Scottish radio show in the
world.
- "Shamrock and Heather" is
out now. Go to the CD's page to hear samples of all the tracks on the album.
There are fifteen tracks in total and they are a mix of Irish and Scottish
as the title suggests.
- Take a look at my new
videos &
chat page to see me performing live
at the Highland Hotel, Strathpeffer and hear a recent radio interview on
MFR.
- "Memories of Scotland" CD has been digitally re-mastered and
some of the tracks re-recorded plus some new tracks have been added
to it. It has been very well received by the media and is getting a
lot of radio airplay recently.
- Finished producing and recording Paula MacAskill's new album
titled "Your Love". She has already had a number 1 in the hotdisc
charts with her first airplay single from the album. Check out her
website in the Links page
- My good friend Dave Hazard has written his life
story.
It
is titled "Born Fighter" and is an unflinchingly honest account of
his life (not for the sensitive or faint hearted). It
is however a compelling read. Check it out at
Amazon.co.uk.
